On May 7th, PINK Revolution Breast Cancer Alliance of New Hampshire hosted their first Live Music event at the Brookline Event Center. The support that was given by our Hollis and Brookline residents was incredible! The majority of the room was filled with HB residents and we are so thankful. Tickets to the event were sold out in 1.5 days!
There was so much representation throughout the night by our community! Hollis-based bands (that included Brookline band members) The Slakas, Joe Birch, and Done by Nine brought down the house! The dance floor was full all night as people danced to classic rock music. The HB Cucumber group came out in droves as they brought 40 members through the door and supported our charity financially in a big way! Thank you to all our friends in the community who bought raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets and donated to our Fund-A-Need!
Special thanks to Hollis residents Bernice Lopez and Matt Stanizzi, owners of BioRestore of Nashua, who sponsored the entire event. Hollis resident John Sterritt worked with his employer, Modern Woodman Fraternal Financial, who made a very generous $2,500 donation to the cause as well.
We shattered our goal and raised over $22,000 for cancer patients in need!! With the rising cost of gas prices, many patients are finding themselves unable to fill their tanks to get to chemo appointments and are forced to skip treatments. Due to the generosity of this HB community nearly 1,000 patients in need will now be supported and can focus on what is most important.... BEATING CANCER! This does not happen without the support of everyone who attended. We can't thank you all enough!!
